Contractor Meeting - New Dates
On behalf of the Cayman Islands Government (CIG), the Ministry of Education, Training, Employment, Youth,
Sports & Culture is proceeding with the procurement of a new George Town Primary School, to be located in
George Town opposite to the existing Georgetown Primary school and along Rock-Hole Road. The size of
the facility will be approximately 60,000 sq ft. and will consist of six (6) interconnected structures built on
elevated soil pads. Suitably qualifi ed General Developers and Contractors are invited to attend a meeting
to view the architectural drawings, and to discuss the project delivery.
An informational meeting will be held at 10.00 AM, 22nd August 2008, at the Ministry of Education,
3rd Floor, Royal Plaza, Cardinal Avenue, George Town, Grand Cayman.
Full architect’s schematic drawings will be available for viewing, followed by a question and answer session.
All interested General Contractors are requested to confirm their attendance at this meeting with the
Director of Facilities by 12.00 noon on 15th August so that adequate accommodations can be made.
